AVONA was commissioned by Clifton Pilot Gig Club in October 2015. Brian Nobbs, Shipwright, promised that she would be ready for the World Pilot Gig Championships in April 2016. The next challenge was to set up a club and recruit 2 crews who would commit to rowing at the championships. The rest, as they say, is history. Follow the story via our blog.
